Stars Rewards Showdown

Players can play Stars Rewards Showdown, from May 11-31, for up to 20 chances to win rewards.

If players win the hand they will receive a reward. If they get a Royal Flush they can win up to €2,500 in rewards.

Players should play real money games to win Stars Rewards Chests containing two cards. They should then take these cards to a Showdown where the best hand will win the pot.

Players must opt-in to play Stars Rewards Showdown.

• Players should opt-in to the Stars Rewards Showdown Challenge via their Challenges Window.
• Once they’ve opted in, they’ll see five community cards (10♠, J♠, Q♠, 6♦ and 4♥) and the two cards they need to beat (9♥ and 9♣).
• Players have to play real money games to win Stars Rewards Chests containing two cards.
• Rewards are awarded based on the best five-card hand from any combination of community cards and two hole cards.
• Players can keep playing real money games to complete progress bars for more chances to win rewards.

The following are the rules (“Rules”) of the Stars Rewards Showdown Promotion (the "Promotion") taking place on our GUI software client (the “Client”) or any of our participating websites or any downloadable apps for our games.

Any entrant (“Entrant”) who wishes to participate in the Promotion hereby agrees to: (i) these Rules; and (ii) the General Terms and Conditions for Promotions on our site (collectively, the “Terms & Conditions”) and agrees to be unconditionally bound by all of the same so as to participate in this Promotion.

1. Details of Promotion

1.1 This Promotion takes place from 9:00 CEST on May 11 until 23:59 CEST on May 31, 2020 (“Promotion Period”).

1.2 To begin, the Entrant must join the Stars Rewards loyalty program and opt-in to the ‘Stars Rewards Showdown’ Challenge by hitting ‘Open’ and then ‘Start’ in their ‘Challenges Window’ in the Client, website or app (where available).

1.3 Once they opt-in, the Entrant will be presented with the ‘Stars Rewards Showdown’ board, which contains seven cards:

1. Five cards forming the ‘community cards’: 10, Q and J of spades, 6 of diamonds, and a 4 of hearts, and
2. Two cards they will be competing against: a 9 of hearts, and a 9 of clubs.

1.4 As a member of Stars Rewards, the Entrant will have already been allocated reward points based on their real money activity on the site. These rewards points are tracked and visible in each Entrant’s progress bar. Every time they complete a progress bar, the Entrant will receive a Stars Rewards Chest which will contain a reward. Throughout the Promotion Period, for all customers who are participating in the Promotion, these Stars Rewards Chests will also contain two cards, allocated at random (‘hole cards’).

Following the receipt of their hole cards, the Entrant will be allocated a reward, as set out in in paragraph 2 below. This reward will automatically be credited to their account via a Chest based on the best five-card hand from any combination of the five community cards and the Entrant’s two hole cards, provided they’re stronger than the cards they’re competing against (as explained in paragraph 1.3b, this is a pair of 9s).

For example, if the two hole cards that an Entrant receives are a 10 of hearts and an 8 of clubs, their best five-card hand is a pair of 10s. As a pair of 10s is stronger than a pair of 9s, they’ll get a reward as described in the table below.

If the two hole cards that the Entrant receives are a 2 of clubs and a 2 of hearts, their best five-card hand is a pair of 2s. As this is not as strong as a pair of 9s, they will not receive a reward.

1.5 The hand-strength probability is as follows:

2. Rewards

2.1 The type of reward won will be personalised to the games the Entrant likes to play. The value of the reward the Entrant can get will depend on the hand strength and the colour of the Stars Rewards Chest they are ascribed based on their level of play at the time won. Its value will vary as follows:

2.2 For example if an Entrant is at ’Silver Chest’ level and holds a 3 of a kind, they will receive a reward to the value of €5.

3. Miscellaneous

3.1 The Entrant can play a maximum of 20 hands throughout the Promotion Period. Once they have played these 20 hands, the challenge in the Challenges Window will appear as complete and the Entrant will no longer receive two ‘hole cards’ if they receive a Stars Rewards Chest during the remainder of the Promotion Period.

3.2 Rewards won as part of this Promotion cannot be assigned or transferred, and any Stars Rewards Chests will be forfeited if not opened within seven days after the end of the Promotion Period.
